Disposition: Robin can be described as one of the calmer members of the Strawhat crew. She’s quiet and reserved, only speaking out whenever there’s something going on. She doesn’t participate in the sillier antics of the crew, though she doesn’t discourage it either. She can be found either reading on the ship or talking with one her crewmates. It could be easy to assume that she doesn’t notice anything around her when she does. She’s one of the most observant members of the crew. She makes sure that nothing important gets lost or that they don’t end up in immediate danger. She cares very much about the people in her life that she will go to any lengths to protect them.

It’s not easy to get to know Robin. Due to her past she keeps her heart very guarded that she will only open up to people that she can completely trust. When she does manage to trust someone she becomes their loyal friend, ready to offer her help to them. She doesn’t think it’s possible for anyone to trust someone they just met without an ulterior motive. She assumes that someone will want something out of their partnership, so she tries to ready herself for when it will happen. When it turns out that person doesn’t want anything from her, she’s not sure how to react. Someone being sincere is one of the easiest ways to catch her by surprise. And she’s someone who doesn’t get caught off guard very easily. However, after working with so many people that wanted something from her, finding someone that doesn’t feel fake. She’ll believe it once her surprise wears off.

Despite her calm, reserved image she actually has a very active imagination. There are times she will imagine something silly such as sitting on the backs of the stronger members of her crew while they swim across the ocean. However, no one will ever know what she’s thinking cause of her poker face. She has the best poker face, being able to hide her silly thoughts really well. She also enjoys macabre humor. She doesn’t shy away from talking about the gruesome ways someone could die. She might not be one of the silliest members of the crew, though she has her moments.

Robin also laughs at the face of danger. There’s isn’t much that scares her, only in extreme cases does she become scared such as when her life was in danger or when Kuma separated her from her crew. Other than that she mostly laugh at the situations where other members of the crew find scary. Robin finds a lot of things amusing that might shock or scare others. She doesn’t get angry very often when she does watch out cause she will let you know. Some of the easiest ways to get her angry is to put her crew in danger, destroy a book, or disrespect history. History is something that she’s very passionate about. It’s her dream to discover the true history of the world. It’s a dream that’s kept her going after the destruction of her island, along with being labeled as a fugitive at the age of eight, that she won’t let anyone get in the way of it. However, she’s more than happy to share her knowledge about the world or offer a book for anyone who’s looking for something new to read.

Robin is the mom friend that someone didn’t know they needed. She’s very good at taking care of others. She’s also great with children, she’s always ready to give them a smile, even if that smile is to hide her pain. She does her best to make sure that no one gets saddled with her problems, often hiding so she can go off to settle them by herself. It takes a lot for her to admit that she needs help, when she does finally admit it then she can accept it.

Underneath Robin’s calm and reserved demeanor lies a woman with a strong will to live, a passion for her dream that rivals the crew’s own, and a silly side that she perfectly hides behind her poker face. It might take awhile to get through her exterior, however when she lets you in you will find a compassionate person that cares for the special people in her life very much. When Nico Robin considers someone a friend they will have someone who will be by their side no matter what happens.

Suitability: Robin would be able to manage in Noctium. Between being part of the Strawhats and having to live in different places in the world she has a lot of experience working in different environments with a variety of people. She would be able to adjust to the different people in the city from all the different places without much difficulty. Once Robin spent some time in the city she would be able to get around and help people out. Being an archaeologist she would love to learn about the history of the city either as a job or a hobby, but would be around to contribute to the city too.
While Robin wouldn’t be shy when it comes to gathering mana she would have some difficulty with synchrony. She could do physical things with no problem if it meant that she had to survive, however for anything emotional it would take Robin much longer to accept it. She would close herself off to new people at first, a reflex from her past, though once she gets over her initial reflex and starts learning more about that person she wouldn’t mind holding hands or doing something more. Since her friends are here to support her she wouldn’t be as nervous about opening herself up emotionally to someone new.

Fighting monsters isn’t something new since she’s been on an island that had zombies on it that she thought was cute. Magic would be something new for her to experience that it would push her to think outside of her logical mind to accept that something like magic can exist. However, she wouldn’t be too nervous about it with her crew around to help her learn more about it. She would be able to handle physical transformations once she grew used to it. If anything happened to her mind it would take a longer time for her to bounce back since she spent a lot of time making sure that her mind stayed sharp for her survival then later on for the protection of her crew. She would be able to bounce back faster with her crew nearby, but it would push Robin to look for help in case her crew wasn’t around.

Being in the city would help Robin open up and trust more people outside of her crew. She would be able to ask for help from more people without thinking twice about it.

Condition upon arrival: In excellent health

Abilities: While Robin isn’t one of the most powerful fighter in the Strawhats she’s able to hold her own in a fight.

Her devil fruit is called the Hana Hana no Mi (Flower Flower Fruit) where she can copy and sprout pieces of her body on a living person or a surface. When she fights she can sprout many hands on her enemies at once where she can break their necks or spine at the same time. She can use the arms to make a net to catch someone, create many arms to grab someone, and uses the arms as steps to climb a wall. She can create clones of herself, increase the number of limbs she can create, and make giant versions of her arms and legs too. Some of her special moves with this ability is:

Seis Fleur Twist: When she wraps her arms around an enemy’s upper body so she can twist it.

Ocho Fleur Flip: When she uses a pair of arms to knock the enemy backwards and pull them to the ground.

Clutch: Using her arms to wrap around the person so she can break their necks, sometimes backs in some cases.

Cuerpo Fleur Double Clutch: When she adds for more arms to herself and her clone, resulting in a total of 12 arms and with 6 arms for each clone.

Gigantesco Mano: When she can create giant versions of her arms and legs to use to kick or punch the enemy away.

Intelligence: She’s an archeologist and one of the smartest members of the crew. She can read poneglyphs, stone slabs that holds the true history of the world, she taught herself this skill when she was eight years old. She knows many different cultures of the world, histories of islands, important people in the world, and the list goes on and on. There isn’t much that Robin doesn’t know. If she doesn’t know it then she’ll learn, it doesn’t take her long for her to pick up anything either.

Agility/Strength: She’s able to dodge attacks very well along with moving her body with ease. She can fight for longer periods of time without wearing out.

Tactician/Spy: Due to her intelligence and her high sense of danger, she’s able to create plans to help the crew either escape from someone dangerous or find the best way to attack the enemy. This skill is something she learned to keep herself safe during her childhood that she now uses it to keep her crew safe.
